Event Leader(s):

* Kas Shanks  kshanks1@comcast.net,  832-250-1021

Bike  level: Beginner+/Advanced beginner

Ride route:  Ride: About 6 to 7 miles, ~600′ climbing.  The route will be leader’s choice based on participants and will be designed to accommodate a 2nd lap for those wishing a longer ride.

Event Details:

* Meet: Highland Drive Trailhead for an 8:30 on-time departure to avoid the heat. The Highland Drive Trailhead is parallel to I- 40 and has a restroom.

* What to Expect: This is a supportive, women’s-only ride in Round Valley. This is a strictly “no-drop” ride, meaning we will ride at a casual pace, and no one will be left behind. It is a great route area to ride for advanced beginners. Because the trails include a few switchbacks and rocky sections, it is not recommended for first-time riders.

* E-bikes: E-bikes are welcome for those who qualify. E-bikes are allowed in Summit County for people 65 and older or if you have mobility disabilities.

* Bring: Calorie-packed snacks, plenty of water, a bike tube, tire levers, a pump, and sunscreen. Please ensure your tires are inflated to the recommended pressure before arrival. Knee and elbow pads are recommended.

* Don’t Bring: Cow/bear bells (courtesy bells OK), music boxes, speakers, earphones, or dogs.

* * REGISTERING for the event helps the leader plan and you can sign the PCMSC Activity Waiver electronically.
