Hike (Moderate): Clyde Lake Loop (Uintas)

Route:  The trail is a well-defined path which passes several lakes.

Hike  level: This hike is a 5 miles loop with about 551’ of elevation gain.  Hiking will be at moderate pace with stops along the way.  Anticipate 3.5 to 5 hours for the hike.

Event Details: 

* Meet at the Kamas Food Town parking lot at 8:45 am for an on-time carpool departure at 9:00 am.  If you prefer to meet at the trailhead, proceed to the Crystal Lake Trailhead (mile marker 27 off of Mirror Lake Highway).

*  Parking at the trailhead requires a National Park Pass displayed on the dashboard

* Dogs are welcome on this hike.

* Cell service is not available.

* Please remember the 4 hiking essentials including good hiking or trail footwear, sunscreen, a shade hat, water, and rain gear.  Bring hiking poles if you want and bug spray. We will stop for snacks/lunch en route.

* Please check the club calendar on the morning of the hike, in case of cancellation due to weather.

* All participants are required to sign the Club’s Activity Release Form which will be provided by the leader or you can conveniently sign online when you register. During this period of transition, we will have both electronic and physical waivers.

* REGISTERING for the event helps the leader plan and you can sign the PCMSC Activity Waiver electronically.  You can also see who else is coming to carpool!
