*Bike level: Moderate riders only!
*Ride: 5 miles, 639 feet of elevation gain. Riding time should be 1-1.5 hours.
*Summary: Bonanza Flat closes on October 1 for seasonal wildlife calving. We still have time to squeeze in one more ride to enjoy the spectacular colors.
* Meet at PCMR parking lot (east side) for an on-time departure of 10:30 am. We will proceed to the Bonanza Flat parking lot from there. The Bonanza Flat parking lot is located on SR 224 (aka Marsac), 5 miles south of downtown PC, near Guardsman’s Pass. Parking is free for people with an 84060-zip code. It’s $5 an hour for all others. Carpooling is encouraged.
* Plan on lunch afterwards at Boneyard for anybody who’s interested.
* E-Bikes: Leader requests no e-bikes on this ride!
* Don't bring cow/bear bells (courtesy bells ok), music boxes, speakers, earphones or dogs.
* Bring calorie packed snacks, plenty of water, bike tube, tire levers, pump and sunscreen. Please make sure that your tires are pumped up to the recommended tire pressure. Knee and elbow pads recommended. Helmet required.
* Please remember the MTB Essential Safety Gear and ABC check your bike before every ride which can be found on our website.
* Cell service may not be available.
* MORNING OF: Please check the club calendar for updates regarding the ride in case of bad weather or trail conditions.
* Activity Release Form: All participants are required to sign and fill out the Club’s Activity Release form that will be provided by the MTB leader at the meeting location.
